Mpumalanga Summit Challenge 2022

In 2021, Mpumalanga Mountain Goats was founded when three friends decided to turn their shared interests into an official Mountain Trekking Initiative. After a couple of outings, they were on their way to creating something unique. Viana, the main founder of the initiative, fell gravely ill during 2021which placed the project on the back burner until January 2022, when her passion for mountain trekking was re-ignited. (She has been an avid mountain explorer her whole life which culminated in her attempting Kilimanjaro in 2005). The Summit Challenge invites like-minded hikers and trekkers to explore the peaks within our spectacular province. Another Kili Trek is also planned for the not so distant future.
